… we still learned from each other and supported each other
Ms. You Chu, MEIG Graduate 2020-2021
As a young lawyer working in a law firm, I used to provide legal advice to government departments and some enterprises, but overly focusing on legal issues themselves, some solutions and opinions were inevitable with the rigidity of law and policy, to some extent. This multidisciplinary program has not only greatly improved my professional capabilities to analyze issues related to the application of law and the implementation of policy, and to find the solution with resilience and dynamics from different aspects, but also helped me perceive issues from a law- or policy-maker’s perspective at different levels, not only limited to a legal practitioner’s perspective.
Even if we were in a pandemic period, with our knowledgeable lecturers, specialists from a variety of fields, and incredible colleagues with different backgrounds, we still learned from each other and supported each other, and our idea was inspired by each other in this program. This is the real meaning of studying which I understand!
