unparalleled networking opportunities
Ms. Ana Bakuradze, MEIG Graduate 2024-2025, Georgia
Participating in the Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance (MEIG Programme) in Geneva was an enriching and transformative experience. As a Georgian student with a background in European sanctions implementation and crypto regulatory developments in Switzerland, the program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of global governance, policy-making, and regulatory frameworks.
The MEIG Programme’s interdisciplinary approach, combining law, economics, and political science, allowed me to deepen my expertise in international regulatory affairs. Engaging with professors, diplomats, and policymakers from leading institutions broadened my perspective on governance challenges and solutions. The interactive seminars and case studies enabled me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world issues, particularly in areas related to financial regulations, digital assets, and compliance frameworks.
Being in Geneva, a hub for international organizations, also provided unparalleled networking opportunities. Discussions with experts from the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, and financial regulatory bodies enhanced my insights into European and global governance. Furthermore, collaborating with a diverse cohort of students enriched my cross-cultural communication and problem-solving skills.
The MEIG not only strengthened my academic foundation but also equipped me with valuable practical skills that I will carry forward in my career.
I am deeply grateful for this experience and highly recommend the program to aspiring professionals seeking to make an impact on global governance
