Despite the difficulties of the ongoing sanitary situation, the MEIG Programme has equipped me with firsthand knowledge and critical skills in the field of international governance systems and their functionalities. The diversification of the topics covered under the MEIG Programme gave me a deeper understanding of current global issues as well as lifelong skills such as research analysis, public speaking techniques, and negotiation tactics.
As a diplomat from Laos, the knowledge I’ve acquired from the MEIG Programme will facilitate my work in approaching diverse topics of international governance in a more coherent and adept manner, which in effect, will enable me to become a competent and an invaluable civil servant.
