The MEIG has allowed me to add multilateralism to my career.

The MEIG Programme is a great programme that came at the right time in my career. It has expanded my knowledge base on the legal instruments of diplomacy. The past nine years in the Foreign Ministry, I have served only under bilateral desks and protocol. The MEIG has allowed me to add multilateralism to my career. I have a better understanding of the European Union, which enables me to advise my government on its competencies and how to develop relations with the EU. In diplomacy, there is always the importance of networking. Through conferences and lectures, I have leveraged those contacts to enhance my experience and explore possible collaborations in Lesotho.  

In conclusion, I believe this was the most important decision I could make in my career and in my life to participate in this course. As an alumnus, I am grateful for having been financially assisted so I could participate, especially as the first Mosotho student of the MEIG.
