the friendships I formed here will stay with me long after the programme ends.
Ms. Krithi Gurajada, MEIG Graduate 2024-2025, India
Before joining the MEIG Programme, I knew it would be a challenging and enriching experience, but I didn’t fully anticipate how much it would shape me, both academically and personally. Moving to Geneva alone was a leap into the unknown, and this programme has been a defining part of that journey.
From the very first module, I was immersed in discussions on global governance, international organizations, and policymaking, learning not only from professors but also from diplomats and experts in the field. Each session pushed me to think critically, ask difficult questions, and engage with diverse perspectives. The intensity of the coursework, combined with the real-world insights from professionals, has broadened my understanding of international governance in ways that go beyond textbooks.
But what truly made this experience special was the people. My classmates – coming from different backgrounds and cultures – became more than just peers; they became a support system. Whether it was working on projects together, exchanging ideas, or simply sharing the ups and downs of student life in Geneva, the friendships I formed here will stay with me long after the programme ends.
Looking back, MEIG has expanded my knowledge and strengthened my ability to navigate complex global challenges. I am grateful for this experience and confident that the lessons learned here will stay with me as I advance in my career.
