ten different but harmonious modules approached from a governance perspective
Mr. Imed Methnani, MEIG Graduate 2022-2023, Tunisia
After ten years of experience in diplomacy mainly in Libyan and sub-Saharan affairs – five of which were in the Tunisian Embassy in Mali – my participation in MEIG Programme provided me with new knowledge and insights about the European law, the functioning of European institutions and their interactions with southern and eastern neighborhood (MENA region and eastern Europe) along with a deep understanding of UN system both in New York and Geneva.
The Uniqueness of the MEIG Programme and the richness it grants to the students stems from the fact that it is made of ten different but harmonious modules approached from a governance perspective with lecturers coming from different academic and geographical backgrounds.
In short, my participation in MEIG Programme was very beneficial and enriching to my diplomatic career and widening to my professional horizons.
