The MEIG Programme has been a highly challenging yet exceptionally rewarding experience, equipping me with greater knowledge in governance by integrating advanced theoretical insights with practical applications. The interdisciplinary nature of the programme has provided me with a broad and in-depth understanding of both European and international governance structures while allowing me to engage with distinguished experts in the field.

This experience has significantly enhanced my ability to analyze complex governance issues, strengthen leadership competencies, and make well-informed decisions. The programme’s rigorous academic structure has pushed me to excel both professionally and academically, ensuring I am well-prepared for leadership roles across various sectors. The exposure and expertise I have gained set me apart from my colleagues in Sri Lanka, as very few civil servants, if any, from my country have had the opportunity to undergo such comprehensive and multifaceted programme.
