facilitated professional opportunities
Ms. Irini Papandreou, MEIG Graduate 2024-2025, Greece/Romania
The MEIG Programme has been a unique and enriching experience, allowing me to bridge my background in languages, literature and hospitality with the complexities of European and international governance. Coming from a field rooted in communication, cultural understanding, and service, I found the programme’s interdisciplinary approach particularly valuable in expanding my perspective on global policymaking.
One of the greatest advantages of this program was how it facilitated professional opportunities. Thanks to the MEIG’s reputation and curriculum, I found it very easy to secure an internship, as employers highly valued the skills and knowledge I was gaining throughout the course. This practical aspect reinforced the programme’s relevance and impact in the professional world.
Engaging with professionals from diverse institutions and sectors has been another highlight, offering insights that complemented the theoretical frameworks we studied.
This year has been one of intellectual and personal growth, reinforcing my passion for governance, diplomacy, and cross-cultural engagement. I am grateful for the opportunities MEIG has provided and look forward to applying these insights in my future endeavours.
