How to address global challenges and provide solutions

As a young civil servant from Mauritius, I found the MEIG Programme to be an incredible dive into the realm of European and International Governance, particularly through the numerous interactive sessions with professionals at EU and UN institutions. The MEIG Programme provided me with an insight into governance and international relations. I now clearly understand how different actors come together at the international level to address global challenges and provide solutions which are subsequently implemented at regional and national levels through policies and actions. The knowledge acquired through this course will undoubtedly prove to be a valuable tool in the progress of my career as I am involved in the design, formulation and implementation of government policies. Another plus was the rich diversity of the MEIG programme participants which allowed me to expand my international network.
