Bénédict de CERJAT Senior Swiss diplomat, former Ambassador of Switzerland to Vietnam, Poland, Belgium & NATO, Pakistan & Afghanistan, currently President of Tourisme neuchâtelois
Bénédict de Cerjat started his professional career with 4 years of business promotion as Secretary General of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in France (1980-1984), followed by 3 years spent on domestic political matters with the Staff of the Swiss Foreign Minister and then 8 years of experience as a diplomat in Peru and then Brussels (European Affairs). Mid-level management experiences at FDFA Headquarters and then Deputy Head of the Swiss Embassy in Washington DC (2000-2004). 18 years of Ambassadorships, representing Switzerland in Vietnam (2004-2007), Poland and Belarus (2007-2011), Belgium and NATO (2011-2015), Pakistan and Afghanistan (2020-2022). From 2016-2020, Ambassador de Cerjat was the Head of the Americas Division in Bern.
